About Us
Dedicated Instructors
Frank Atherton, Lead Instructor, Certified by both the NRA and the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association), is an Air Force Veteran and Retired Law Enforcement Officer. 21 years of teaching experience enable him to correct and improve shooting skills and safety awareness. I enjoy working with all age groups and all levels of expertise, including those who have never handled a firearm and want to learn.

Programs
Concealed Carry Certification
The Concealed Carry Certification can be completed in either a 4 hour or 8 hour class. Applications for Concealed Carry will be filled out during the class for submission to the Department of Public Safety for issuance of your Concealed Carry Certification Card. You are responsible for submitting the application, two fingerprint cards as required, and the DPS fee in order to process your application.
Concealed Carry and Home Defense
The Concealed Carry and Home Defense class covers basic handgun use and home defense. This includes how to develop a plan to better secure your home from intruders, security of doors and windows, lights, general appearances, alarm usage, situational awareness and responses to threats.
Women's Hand Gun and Self-Defense Fundamentals Course
This course includes Women's Basic, Intermediate, and Defensive Pistol; Universal Safety Rules; Shooting Basics - choosing the right gun, stance, sight use, grip, trigger control, holsters, and much more.
Personalized One-on-One Training
This private lesson format will give you one-to-one time with the instructor. If you are a beginner and want to learn how to shoot, or if you are experienced and want to hone your skills and accuracy, this is the course for you. It is at your pace to achieve your goals.
